<p>To give delegates an understanding of track patrolling activities and associated techniques used as part of the track inspection process used on the Railway Infrastructure. On completion of the training and following written and practical assessments, a statement of achievement will be issued for each delegate denoting underpinning knowledge and ability to carry out a variety of tasks associated with &#39;Track Patrolling&#39;.</p>

Any persons who are responsible for undertaking basic visual inspection of the permanent way on Network Rail Controlled Infrastructure.
